The ohmytt Chrome extension provides tools for exploring publicly available TikTok information. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok.
When you click the extension icon, it reads the active tab URL to recognize a TikTok profile, post, live page or share link. The extension does not read page contents, monitor browsing activity, or access TikTok passwords, private messages or login cookies. Right-click actions use only the TikTok page or link you select.
Opening a tool retrieves a public capability catalog from ohmytt.com. A recognized URL is filled into the input, and is not sent as a query until you explicitly submit it. Submitted usernames, public content IDs, links and query parameters are sent over HTTPS to ohmytt.com, whose service queries configured public TikTok data sources. The service may use TikTok and the Omar-Thing public interfaces to fulfill requests. Media previews may load directly from the returned media providers and receive your IP address as part of normal network delivery.
The ohmytt service receives your IP address and ordinary HTTP request metadata, and uses an encrypted, HttpOnly session cookie for temporary upstream state. The cookie expires after one day. Operational diagnostics record action, outcome, timing, error codes and request IDs, rather than submitted usernames, links, cookies or query results. Infrastructure providers may process network metadata to deliver and protect the service. The extension does not include analytics, advertising, tracking scripts or remotely hosted executable code.
The extension stores up to eight recent searches and your language preference locally in the browser. Unsubmitted input may be kept in session storage while switching tools or languages. You can clear recent searches in the toolkit history or the popup's Clear local history action. Removing the extension removes its local data. JSON, CSV and media exports are saved only when you request them, and remain in the download location you choose until you delete them.
Data is used to provide the requested tools, downloads, and service reliability. The extension does not sell personal data or use it for advertising, creditworthiness or lending decisions. It does not provide access to private content or bypass platform access controls. Only download or export content you own or are authorized to use.
